The need for Burutu Local Government to have a Council chairman with a unique blend of experience, passion, and commitment to serve the best interest of the people came to the fore during the week, as Hon. Paul Oruma began his consultations for the Chairmaship position ahead of the Council elections.

Speaking with journalists in Warri, Hon. Oruma said, his purpose for embarking on the consultations was informed by his passion to uplift his people and foster growth within his loca government.

He assured that, if he becomes the Council chairman, he would ensure transparency in leadership, accountability, empowerment and all inclusive administration.

While positing that the aspirations and values of Burutu people, among others would be given priority, Hon. Oruma said, I will make Burutu Local Government a better, happier and more prosperous and peaceful place in line with our dear Governor Sheriff Oborevwori M.OR.E Agenda.

He therefore, appealed to Burutu people to make a wise decision in him when the elections are proper come, so that, together they would bring the dividends of democracy to their door steps.
