The Niger Delta Progressive Women Worldwide has called on Niger Deltans to give Peace a Chance and Support the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking with newsmen after the interactive session with Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the administrator of Presidential Amnesty Program in Warri, Delta State, “The National Coordinator of the Group Comrade Andakuro Joy Miebi appeal to women and organizers of the proposed protest of October 1st, 2024 to give peace a chance and support Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led federal government to give the Niger Delta the needed development, noting that, protest can not overthrow an elected government.
According to the National Coordinator, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, as a product of the struggle always harping on the need for Niger Deltans to embrace Collective Peace and Development, imbibe a Culture and Relationship Development Approach that can influence the acceptance of ethnic differences, ability to listen and Appreciate each others Tradition and Beliefs. Even at his different engagement with Traditional Rulers and Ex-Agitators he still harp on Peace and Development for our common good and for the betterment of the Niger Delta.
“It’s based on this assertion by the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP) administrator that touched the heart of various Women Groups, specifically her Group, “The Niger Delta Progressive Women Worldwide, calling on Niger Deltans and organizers of the proposed protest to give Peace a Chance and Shelve the forthcoming Protest called by enemies of the Niger Delta and the Government of the day.
According to the vibrant woman leader, “Let us Mobilize to Support the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as Protests can’t Overthrow an “Elected Government”.
