Re-Okonjo Iweala Appointment By South Africa President: A Certain Publication Titled Buhari Should Not Allow Okonjo Iweala To Work In South Africa Has Since Made It To Social Media Space, The Said Publication Dated 11/03/2020 Emanated From Odince Blog.Com A Blog Run By One Odince Goodwill Quoted Olorogun (Barr) Kenneth Gbagi As Saying That Buhari Should Not Allow Dr. Okonjo Iweala To Work In South Africa And By Extension To Estopped From Performing Her Duties As A Member Of The South Africa’s Presidential Economic Advisory Council.

Firstly, it is pertinent to state here and now that, there was never a time the former Minister for Education, Olorogun (Barr) Kenneth Gbagi stated that Dr. Iweala should not be allowed to work or perform her duties in South Africa. As a matter of fact, the consummate industrialist, Olorogun Gbagi expressed great joy the moment the news of Dr. Iweala’s appointment broke. The Philanthropist did not only congratulate the highly celebrated Dr. Iweala but also went as far as commending President Cyril Ramaphosa for finding the right choice in Dr. Iweala whom he, Olorogun Gbagi has described as an international development expert who has continuously reflected the character, discipline, ethic and moral uprightness he has always known her for, even as a colleague minister( for ease of reference, attached is the publication link wherein Olorogun Gbagi extolled the sterling qualities of Dr. Iweala and lauded the foresight of President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa:

Secondly, Olorogun Gbagi noted that Dr. Iweala is a global citizen and a consummate economist who ordinarily is expected to be courted by any country which truly seeks economic growth. It is however quite sad to note that anyone would cherry-pick words from an article of commendation that was as clear and straightforward as could be.
The former Minister while expressing his dissatisfaction noted that comprehension is the focal point and bedrock of communication but the moment unambiguous words are taken and interpreted out of context, it is becomes easy to input a malicious intent as the author of the publication has clearly demonstrated.

“The recommendations of Olorogun Gbagi to Buhari to take steps to bring Dr. Iweala back into the system stems from a deeply rooted concern and patriotic fervour that is only peculiar to Olorogun Gbagi. In his usual style as a large scale investor, seasoned security expert and excellent criminologist, Olorogun Gbagi strongly believes that the brightest minds in a country should take charge of affairs. More so, as a former Minister for Education, Olorogun Gbagi went the extra mile to set in motion, drastic measure to overhaul the nation’s educational structure, instilling discipline and a sense of duty within the academia whilst ensuring that Nigerians are given reasons to put their very best into the collective growth and advancement of the country.

In tune with the foregoing, Olorogun Gbagi only reiterated the urgent need to make all well meaning Nigerians who have proven their ilk in various spheres of human endeavours to come on board and make Nigeria great as it ought to be, if not for anything, but for the sake of posterity.

The business mogul, Olorogun Gbagi, in closing warned that bloggers, social media practitioners and journalists alike should imbibe the culture of self-restraint and observe the core ethics of journalism rather than hurriedly saturating public domain with misinformation, or, even worse, a mismatch of tales coated with the malicious intent to mislead the unsuspecting public.
