NASS Leadership: Majority Leader Declares For Speaker
House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila (APC Lagos State), has officially joined the race for the office of the speaker of the ninth Assembly.
Gbajabiamila in company of over 170 APC Honourable members elect made his intention known on Sunday in Abuja.
According to Gbajabiamila, he was in the race to unite the country and bring good governance closer to the people. If am the elected speaker in the ninth Assembly I would galvanise the lawmakers to make life more abundant for all Nigerians.
Gbajabiamila applead to all Honourable members elect to support his ambition noting that, there is much work to do by making laws in the area of health, power, education, infrastructure and alleviation of poverty in the country. Am the bridge between the Executive and the legislatives for good governance.
