Kogi: Mixed Feelings As Gov Bello Picks Female ADC

 

Mixed feelings as Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State picked a female Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ifeoma Iwanger Akanya as his Aide de Camp (ADC).

“The new female ADC who hailed from Benue State replaced former ADC, Chief Superintendent, Usman Shugaba, who was said to have been redeployed to Aso Rock to handle the security detail of the first lady, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari.

Miss Ify Iwanger Akanya, is a daughter to Charles Akanya, a former Commissioner of Police.

The former ADC, Usman Shugaba, from Kano State was initially transferred from the state to Lagos State before the November 16 Governorship election, where he was again redeployed to serve as ADC to the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari.

“The female ADC, Miss Ifeoma Akanya, who is an Assistant Superintendent of Police, is a trained lawyer
