Egbema Youth Council President General Sends Congratulatory Message To Governor Okowa, Senator Manage, Hon Ereyitomi And Hon Martins For Their Well Deserved Victory In The General Elections
Warri: The umbrella body of Egbema youths under the aegis of Egbema Youth Council (EYC), led by the newly elected President General Mr. Bright Maya and the entire Executive members on behalf of the Egbema Kingdom has congratulated the incumbent and governor-elect of Delta State, Dr. Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa for his well deserved victory on the governorship election conducted March 2019 and the inauguration come May, 29th 2019.
Egbema Youth Council is the central youth body in Egbema Kingdom that advocates for the unity and development of the Kingdom.
The newly elect President General of the Youth Body during the weekend at Warri hosted a press briefing and sends his congratulatory message to the elected Governor of Delta state, he urged the Governor-elect, the Senator-elect, the House of Representatives and House of Assembly members-elect to take as priority the development of the Egbema Kingdom and Delta State in general.
He expressed confidence that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa will do more tremendously for the Ijaws in Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.
In his words “we are optimistic that our dear Governor will do justice to the good people of Egbema Ijaws in Warri North for always standing by him, supporting and voting for him all his governorship elections
He urged the newly elected members to use their good offices to attract developmental projects to the Egbema Kingdom to alleviate the plights of the Egbema indigenes because we are suffering a lot like third class citizens in the scheme of things in the state.
Mr. Bright Maya equally stated that Egbema Kingdom does not forbid modern social amenities, higher educational institutions, modernized healthcare, electrity, portable drinking water, good roads and others
He as well admonished all the youths from Egbema Kingdom in Nigeria and diaspora to support the Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration in the state to fruition.
