Delta 2023: Ogboru Jubilates As PDP Bent On Sacking APC 43 Candidates In Delta, INEC Clears Oborevwori As Delta PDP Gubernatorial Candidate
By Fred Latimore Esq
The Peoples General of Abraka politics, Chief Great Ogboru, is having fun, mocking his former political associate, Senator Augustine Ovie Omo-Agege, over positive moves by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to nullify all forty three candidates of the All Progressives Party, APC, in Delta State, over reckless breach of the Electoral Act, 2022.
Reliable sources close to the embattled governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, said Ogboru had issued irrevocable curses on Senator Agege, for using and dumping him via Labour Party platform in 2015 through 2019, adding that Agege will face the political battle of his life from Ogboru’s political structure in 2023.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has published the name of the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, JP, the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom and Deputy National Chairman of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
The source who refused to be named, further posited that Senator Agege swore to do whatever it takes to ensure that Ogboru becomes governor of Delta State in 2023, but later back-stabbed the Peoples General by working against him in APC, so as to secure the party’s governorship ticket, leading to Ogboru’s bitter and hasty exit from the party.
“Yes, Senator Agege did his worst but those of us in the Ogboru political family in Delta State will ensure that he does not win any ward or local government in the forthcoming 2023 gubernatorial election in the state, the same way APC shall crash at the Presidential election.
“It is obvious that an Urhobo son from Delta Central shall be the governor of Delta State in 2023, but certainly not the deceptive and unreliable APC Guber candidate, Senator Augustine Ovie Omo-Agege, not Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi of the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
“We in the Ogboru political camp shall surely take our pound of flesh from Senator Agege, the mace runner of Nigeria, and by this I mean the APC Guber candidate shall surely crash like a pack of card from the governorship race in 2023.
“Ogboru political family in Delta State, is already mobilizing eligible voters to work against Senator Agege in 2023, no going back.
“Our Principal, Chief Great Ogboru, is very excited about the legal steps taken by PDP to sooner or later sack Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and the other 42 candidates of APC in Delta State.
“APC is an association of crude politicians with little or no integrity in their dealings. We regretted joining the APC after the 2015 general elections. It was the biggest mistake Chief Ogboru and our team ever made in politics.
“Senaror Agege deceived Ogboru in 2015 and 2019, and by these deceptive political orchestrations, Agege’s political misfortunes at the polls in 2023 is not negotiable,” he source added.
There is jubilation ongoing in Delta State, as INEC clears Oborevwori as Delta PDP governorship candidate, standing tall over his competitors in the race.
