Coronavirus: Why Delta State House Of Assembly Majority Leader, Tim Should Be Quarantine For 14 Days

Hon Tim Owhefere, Delta State House of Assembly Majority Leader and member representing Isoko North Constituency at the state Assembly, has been reportedly just returned from the United State of America.

Impeccable sources said he arrived Nigeria aboard a Delta Airline from Atlanta and landed at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday, 18th March 2020.

He attended the PDP congress in Isoko North LGA last Saturday, 21st March 2020.

By international standards and best known global practice to curtail the spread of the now pandemic virus, he ought to self quarantine having just returned from a country with high record cases of the Corona Virus, but unfortunately, he did not deem it fit to do so.

I am by this post and information, urging the Delta state Government through the Ministry of Health, to with immediate effect move for the quarantining of the House member for 14 days as mandatory demanded to ensure he is free of the virus.

I also urge the Government through the State Ministry of Health, to try by all means to identify those whom Hon Owhefere could have had contact with within this period of time.

Stop the spread of Corona Virus in Delta State!
