President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should take the statements of the Minister Designate of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation as a biase and Anti-South.
The Niger Delta Progressive Women Worldwide made this submission after listening to the Minister Designate during the Senate Screening.
According to the National Coordinator of the Group Comrade Miebi Andakuro, all the statements made by Nentawe during Senate screening shows that the Southerner part of the country will benefit less or if left for the Minister Designate the South will not benefit anything from the Ministry, nothing that, the Ministry is meant for all Nigerians to benefit, despite your region and religious belief.
“We are calling on Mr. President to look into Nentawe’s statements and redeploy him to where he can perform Effectively.
According to the vibrant woman leader, Nentawe an engineer by profession should be deployed to the Ministry of Lands and Housing were he can be effective and efficient and add value to his administration.
“We are calling on our dear President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider a woman as a Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
We are appealing to our dear Mr President to appoint qualified woman with a proven track records of humanitarian initiative, who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment that addressing issues of poverty and humanitarian crises.
