… Says Tantita Security Performance Has Increase The Economic In The Oil Industry Over The Years

The publication making rounds that the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) is supporting the Olu of Warri against the Ijaw nation is fallacious and a ploy by distractors to paint the IYC, of which Chief Frank Akiefa is the Deputy President in the bad light. The publication is not targeted at discrediting Tantita’s commitment for zero tolerance for oil theft and pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta region.

The Publication does not intend to put the Ijaw nation in Crossfire with the Itsekiris, so it should not be taken out of context. Whilst we as IYC are not in any way comparing the two surveillance companies as regards performance we are safe to say that the Tantita Security outfit under the the Directorship of Chief Kestin Pondi has been up to the task of securing the Pipelines. This has, in turn, increased the performance of the economic output in the oil industry in the country.

We state without any atom of doubt that the Tantita Security outfit scorecard is the best over the years, and it has directly influenced positive attitudes against pipeline vandalism and oil theft. The Chief Kestin Pondi led Tantita has even gone beyond their contract terms by continuous education and training of the youths against pipeline vandalism and its environmental consequences. This has further resharpen the orientation of our youths.

Chief Kestin Pondi obviously works round the clock to ensure positive results, and this is evident has they constantly bag awards upon awards with the most recent by the Daily Independence newspaper.

The Ijaw nation is in no way interested in meddling in the affairs of Itsekiri people as our interest is for a better Niger Delta region where everyone enjoys the benefit of the sole source of economic power of the Nigerian states.

However, we task Tantita not to lose sight of their goal and contract description. The accolades from several quarters should act as motivation to spur them to do more.

We are watching with a keen interest.

Signed
Chief Frank Akiefa
Deputy President IYC, Worldwide
