The former chairmanship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Bomadi Local Government, Engr. Franklin Miebi Garry has commissioned a borehole he donated to Awobu Primary School Akugbene Community in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.

Speaking to newsmen after commissioning the borehole project, Engr. Franklin Miebi Garry said, “I thank God for giving me the means to provide this borehole for the school. I’m fulfilled and happy seeing the students smiling and dancing.

When I was told Awobu Primary School toilet project was abandoned, I participated in the discussions on the Akugbene Community Forum, which members voluntarily contributed, and we were able to raise money to complete the abandoned toilet project for the school.

After the completion of the toilet, there was no water for the students to use.

With the help of God, I was able to provide this borehole to enable the students to have water to use.

Seeing them smiling and dancing, I am very happy and fulfilled, and I give God all the glory for using me to put a smile on the faces of our children.

I thank members of Akugbene Community Forum for their voluntary contribution to completing the abandoned toilet project in the school.

Let me use this medium to appeal to His Excellency, our dearly beloved governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to complete the abandoned projects in Akugbene Community and the Local Government, most especially the Akugbene Technical College, Gbaregolor/Esanma bridge and Esanma/Akugbene road.
