A group under the aegis of Niger Delta Progressive Women Worldwide has commended Barr Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory for his good works he is doing in the federal capital, noting that, he is a man of his word with action and the Niger Deltans are proud of him.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, “The National Coordinator of Niger Delta Progressive Women Worldwide, Comrade Miebi Andakuro said, “The Minister of FCT is a quintessential leader with a golden heart an Ijaw man in disguise, the Ijaw nation is very happy with him for making one of their son as governor of Rivers State.
According to the National Coordinator, “There are heights and opportunities you will never attain if you don’t understand the power of keeping valuable relationships, which is a stream of income.
“The vibrant woman leader described Wike as a “Humanist and a Welfarist Par Excellence.” A quintessential leader with his deeds as a politician.
Wike is confidently leading the way and doesn’t impose his own agenda over his subjects, instead he leads to achieve his goals by showing how to work towards the betterment of the people he leads, by encouraging and supporting them to succeed in their given task a quicker pace.
According to Comrade Miebi, “The FCT Minister always listen to his subjects and take a stand for something that could ultimately change an outcome for his subjects positively.
“The former governor of Rivers State always respond to challenges of his subjects by giving them platform to grow in their choosen carrer. His decisions are based on humanity. He is a game changer and we are proud of his achievements as a minister and former governor.
Wike is a consistent naturalist, who do good, spread smile around, with the passion for discovering capacity leaders and invest in them. One of the fulcrum of his administration as governor of Rivers State is his “Transformative Development” of the underprivileged with his deep-seated belief in the power of commitment for uplifting his people. Wike facilitated the appointment of Bayelsans – The pioneer speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Former Minister and Senator, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister for Petroleum (State).
Also a former Chief of Staff, Bayelsa State Government House, Chief Ongbuku Samuel was facilitated by Wike to be appointed as the MD/CEO of the NDDC. All this are testimonies that the Rivers Ijaws organized a Grand Reception in his Honour.
