Though married to this wonderful lady for 32 years now, writing about her gives me so much joy and happiness which only God can give. I met her as a student in UNICAL in 1985 and it was sports that brought us closer. We have been lovers till date and it never surprised many of our school mates that we ended up as husband and wife….”

To the Glory of our Almighty God, 23rd May 2024 marks my 32nd wedding Anniversary with the former Miss Ada Chioma Henrietta Nwaorgu. A journey that started at the University of Calabar UNICAL where we were undergraduates in 1987 led to our formal wedding at St Theresa Catholic Church in Yola, Adamawa State in May 23rd, 1992 under the then Rev Father Ignatius Kaigama the present Arch Bishop of Abuja Catholic Diocese and President of Catholic Bishops in Nigeria.

To the glory of God, our union has produced six beautiful children, five graduates, and one undergraduate.

When I reflect on how i met this lady who accepted me as a husband even as a student with a very poor background with nobody in mind to assist me, I look at her as the craziest lady ever on this earth

We started this auspicious day as any other day, presenting ourselves first before our Great God through listening and take directive from Him after wishing ourselves happy wedding celebration.

My wife handled today’s Opening Heavens Daily Devotional titled, “THE EVER-PRESENT HELP” with the Memorise Verse taken from
(Psalm 37:39) “But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.”

The Bible Reading was also taken from
PSALM 46:1-7 (KJV)

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

In her sermon, she reminded us of the faithfulness of God towards our family starting from how we started this family with little or nothing, the series of accidents that would have claimed our lives if not for the presence of God.

She highlighted how I was able to go through my secondary education based on God’s presence without any Sponsor. How we went to YOLA and started this family without even a single mat and asked how we have managed to be gifted with six children and able to send them to university and since then we are all intact.

She concluded by stating that God’s presence is well very visible in the life of this family and we need not disturb ourselves no matter whatever maybe the challenge or challenges before as at the moment as God will always be faithful to His children.

After presenting our prayers before this awesome God, we embarked upon our different morning functions and after which we gathered some fruits which normal forms our breakfast and have since be discussing and exchanging ideas on how to progress this family.

After which we started to receive goodwill messages and gifts from our children and Associates.

The above is how far we have spent this day as we give God all the Glory for His MERCIES towards us, our children and Associates.

Mrs. Ada Chioma Eze, formerly Miss Henrietta Nwaorgu of Ngor-Okpala in Imo State. She is the third child of late Pa Paulinus Nwaorgu and late Mrs. Celine Ada Nwaorgu of nine children with renowned Physician, Prof. O.G.B. Nwaorgu of ENT Department, UCH Ibadan, and Romanus Nwaorgu, a retired senior Customs Officer as brothers amongst others. She started her educational career at Umuodage Ntu Primary School from 1970 to 1976 and thereafter attended Amala/Ntu Secondary School from 1976 to 1981. Both schools are located in Ngor Nkpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

From 1981 to 1983 Ada attended the famous Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Owerri, where she did her Higher School Certificate, which qualified her for direct entry admission in the famous Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, and University of Calabar in 1985. She however preferred the University of Calabar, where she read History and graduated in 1988. Mrs. Eze did the compulsory National Youth Service (NYSC) with the Ministry of Sports in Rivers State. In 2006, this Amazon obtained her Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) degree from Federal University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa State.

Based on my relationship with this great daughter of God, I have since come to understand and appreciate what Proverbs 22:18 says, “Whosoever findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.”

“Every wise woman buildeth her house,” according to Proverbs 14 verse 1. It is based on this singular fact considering how this passage of the bible tallies with the vision of Mrs. Evang. Ada Chioma Henrietta Eze, who toils daily to build her house from nothing to what it is today, that I hereby decorate this inspiring woman whose life is totally dedicated and committed to building her home. She has become a model to many Christian families in all aspects of what a God-fearing family should be.

More facts about Mrs Ada Eze

If you are not satisfied with the Virgo Signs, then read Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31 and you would have seen Mrs. Ada Eze in her true nature.

All these verses have one thing or the other to express about this woman that I have prayed God to allow me marry her again and again if there is anything like reincarnation. I wonder what would be my fate in this world if not for the part this special gift to me has played in my life.

Though married to this wonderful lady for 32 years now, writing about her gives me so much joy and happiness which only God can give. I met her as a student in UNICAL in 1985 and it was sports that brought us closer. We have been lovers till date and it never surprised many of our school mates that we ended up as husband and wife.

I was the Faculty of Arts Sports Coordinator in 1986 and it happened that we were in the same Faculty. Impressed with her outstanding interest and performance in sports, I called her to assist me to coordinate the female athletes as it would be difficult for me to be visiting the female hostels to ask them to come out for training and participation in the games. At the end of that year’s Inter-Faculty Games, Faculty of Arts came tops; while she was the most outstanding female athlete. I was declared the Best Sports Coordinator that year, which made me to be elected unopposed as the Director of Sports during the Students Union Government (SUG) election of 1986.

Her impact in my life so far

With the help of this true gift from God, I was able to manage the UNICAL Football Team to become the champions of the maiden edition of the NFA/Pepsi Cola Football Tournament amongst Higher Institutions in Nigeria in 1987. As a result of that feat, I was awarded scholarship with the rest of the players to complete my education in the university.

In 1987, Ada assisted me to organise the first Sports Honours Nite ever in UNICAL where prominent sports sponsors like Alhaji G.NA. Hamza, Chief M.K.O Abiola and Chief Emmanuel Iwanyanwu were honoured.

On completion of her youth service in Port Harcourt in 1989, she joined me in Yola, where I was posted for the same exercise. Again, this angel assisted me to become the Most Outstanding Corps Member in the State and the first Corps Member in Nigeria to have served the nation without receiving the normal allowances paid to NYSC members, as I donated mine for the development of my host community.

We stayed back in Yola after the youth service and by the grace of God were able to complete the traditional marriage rites of her people. We were thereafter formally wedded by the then Rev. Ignatius Kagama (now Bishop Kagama in charge of Abuja Diocese of the Catholic Church) at St. Theresa Cathedral, Yola, on 23rd May 1992.

With her assistance, we established a sports company, Eze Continental Sports Ltd., through which we donated several cups for competitions and made our names household in the entire Adamawa State. Regrettably, after several years in Yola, we were forced to leave and return to the South about eight years ago due to the menace of Boko Haram insurgents. Today, we are blessed with six wonderful kids, five undergraduates and one as an undergraduate.

Mrs. Ada C.H. Eze was born under the Virgo Astrology sign of August 23 – September 22. When I wanted to write on this wonderful woman, I looked through her Horoscope star and it seems that those that drafted it had her in mind: “Analytical. Observant, Helpful, Reliable and Precise.” These are truly the characteristics of this epitome of true womanhood. Read through the Virgo Sign and you will be reading about Mrs. Ada Eze.

Hope we all had a good night rest?
Our dearly beloved children, Greetings in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today marks Thirty two years (32yrs) of my union with your Dad , Chief Eze Chukwuemeka-Eze. He Traditionally married me on the 28th of December 1992 and wedded me in Saint Theresa Catholic Church Yola on the 23rd of May, 1992 by the resident Priest Rev. Fr. Ignatius Kiagama, the Present Arch Bishop of Abuja.

I give the Almighty God thanks today for proving Himself Mighty in this marriage.
This union experienced storms of various degrees but God was always in the midst of those storms and proved Himself.

Our Children, today is 32yrs i have been with my husband. In this 32yrs, i have nothing to regret about marrying your Dad. He is an honest man and has remained too Faithful in this marriage. He cannot be grouped in the list of Husband’s who can’t provide for his family. He has remained steadfast and unassuming in any Divine Task he is assigned to deliver. Your Dad is not someone that can be bought over with money . He would prefer to plead for help instead.

We may not boast of anything material but through the help of our God and some Destiny helpers, we are still moving on. There is nothing too good and comforting in marriage than Trust In God. Without Him we would have been given as prey to our adversaries. He has remained too Faithful to us. He has remained our High Tower, Strength, Joy , Peace and Healer. The wisdom and understanding from Him is amazing!
Our beloved Children, On this very special day, I don’t have any gift to give u people than Godly counsel.

*Draw closer and closer to your maker, The Almighty God. The days are too evil.
*Be honest in whatever u do.
*Be Content with whatever you have – Righteousness with contentment is great gain.
*Depart from any ungodly assembly and if any from such gathering entices u, consent not.
*In your search of marriage partners, may God direct all of u to those WHO FEAR HIM.
*Be patient and tolerant.
*Be Compassionate
*Believe in God and have
Faith in Him.
*Be very patient, positive
and thankful in Waiting.

I thank u all for your efforts and sacrifices from childhood unto this day. May Our Merciful God grant u children all round Favor. What u seek may u find, when u knock, may it be opened to u and that u ask or request for, may it be granted to u IJN.

Through the help and Grace of God-
You all will fulfill your destinies and subdue your enemies. May God grant you all peace, joy, patience, good health, wealth and Divine security In The Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

For those that have been assisting us all this years offering your Financial and Moral support, we may not have the capacity to reciprocate to what u did and still doing. We therefore through our prayers plead that God responds to your needs in the most amazing way IJN.

Once again I express my gratitude to my Maker, My life and The Owner The Almighty God for the great things He has done and is still doing. Take All the Glory My God!

Thank u our children. May your days be long, fruitful in sound Health on planet earth with fulfilled destinies through the power and Grace of our God.

To our Destiny helpers, May the Almighty God always be your EBENEZER!
To my husband, u have remained a divine tool and an uncommon partner. You are a perfect definition of a Man of Integrity spoken about in the book of Proverbs.

You understood the marriage VOWS and have FEARED THE LORD GOD dealt decently, honestly and Faithfully with me in this marriage. My Excellency! My King! My husband and Father of our children, God will never ignore u when u call. You are a rare husband! I Salute u Sir!

Thirty two years in the Storm yet we are standing through the help of our God!
Congratulations to us!

I sincerely appreciate my late father in-law, Mr. P. N. NWAORGU who accepted me to marry her daughter when he was fully aware that I have no means of embarking upon such a great project. My appreciation also goes to Arch. Bishop Ignatius Ayau Kaigama whom God used to join us during our wedding 32 years ago. Mr Anthony Okwudiba who released his car for us to use during the wedding. My best man, Comrade Vincent Obike and my wife’s Chief Bridesmaid, Mrs. Ulu Agharanya. Late Alh. Gidado Abubakar who was my boss during my NYSC days, Alh. Mo-Allahyidi Mohammed whose impacts and contribution in watering us during our earlier days in marriage can’t be overemphasized.

The Igbo community at Yola and all my community and friends who attended both my traditional and church wedding. God bless you all for us.

My late uncle, Onyiba Igwe Uzor who released his car to enable us travel to Umuaku to pay the dowry on my wife. It will be impossible to appreciate all that helped us to run this family to this stage including our great children, it is our sincere prayers that God bless you all.

God bless you all who have continued to pray and help us to sustain this God designed Union

ADA EZE Snr is my best friend, my mother, my wife, pillar of my life, and after Almighty God, the power behind whatever I am today: I truly love her from the depths of my heart and will do till eternity. She is one in a million and deserve nothing less.

I will for the rest of my life with the help of God continue to love her for bringing sunshine into my life and family. She is the tool that God used to uplift me to my present status ad I will always be grateful to God and her parents, siblings who accepted me when I was nobody and made this union to be possible.

As we continue in this journey we ask you our friends, brethren and associates for your prayers. God bless you all and thanks to all that have helped us one way or the other in making this union a huge success.
