Esenaebe Community Lauds NDDC Contractor Over Rural Electrification Project

….Say Is A New Dawn For The People Of The Community

Bomadu – The leadership of Esenaebe community in Bomadi local government area of Delta State, have lauded the contractor handling the solar-powered street electrification project in the Community, Barr Akpan Ozioro, describing the project as a new dawn on the people of the community.

The president-general of the community, Chief Romeo Bozimo, in a statement issued and made available to newsmen, yesterday, noted that the gesture of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, contractor was first of its kinds in the community, which is the commercial hub of the council area.

He averred that the community had been in darkness over the years despite the installation of similar projects in surrounding communities.

“We are very happy over this solar electrification project in our community and we thank Barr Akpan Ozioro, who is the contractor handling the project, for remembering Esenaebe community in his effort to light up various rural communities in this area.

“Yesterday, we saw him working very hard alongside his workers day and night, carrying concrete and fixing rods for the solar poles in our community. We have never seen such a humble man who works side-by-side with his workers day and night just like Julius Berger Plc.

“It is our prayer that Almighty God will give him more wisdom and strength to serve humanity because his dedication and faithfulness in the execution of these projects are highly commendable unlike some contractors, who would take the contract money and abandon projects everywhere in this area.

“We want to use this medium to appeal that he should consider Esenaebe community in the concrete pavement jobs, as all our access roads and streets are begging for attention of the government”.
