Delta 2027: PDP Set To Retain Udu As Udu Council Chairman, Oyibode Expresses Optimism

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, High Chief (Hon.) Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, JP FCIA, has reaffirmed the dominance of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the council area, describing it as the party of the Udu people. He expressed confidence that the outcome of the 2027 general elections would further solidify PDP’s position in the region.

Speaking to journalists during the Udu PDP Enlarged General Meeting at Otor-Udu on Friday, Hon. Oyibode praised the leadership of the Udu PDP Chairman, Rt. Hon. Evang. David Siloko, commending his charisma and dedication in steering the party to greater heights.

The Udu Council Boss also reiterated his commitment to replicating the MORE Agenda of Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori at the local level through strategic infrastructural development. He lauded Governor Oborevwori for fulfilling his campaign promises, bringing visible progress to Delta State, including Udu Local Government Area.

During the meeting, a vote of confidence was unanimously passed on the Udu PDP Executive, under the leadership of Evangelist David Siloko, acknowledging their efforts in strengthening the party’s presence in the area.

The event marked yet another milestone in the PDP’s growing influence in Udu, setting the tone for future political engagements as the party prepares for the next electoral cycle.
