The Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG) congratulates his National Coordinator Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye as he emerge the PDP Chairmaship candidate of Bomadi Local Government Council in forthcoming local government elections.

The National Coordinator of Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG), Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage is vast knowledgeable, competent and politically experienced to pilot the affairs of our dear Bomadi Local Government. He hails from Kpakiama Community in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.

He is a graduate of the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island Bayelsa State and a devoted member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The National Coordinator of Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG) and PDP Chairmaship candidate of Bomadi Local Government in the forthcoming local government elections was Financial Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Bomadi Local Government and Supervisoring Councilor for Works and Environment in Bomadi Local Government.

Dagidi also served as Chairman, PDP Youth Circuit, Delta State Chapter, Member Planning Sub-Committee on Security and Protocol in 2017, Member Delta State Marshall of the PDP National Volunteer Front, Member PDP National Youth Conference Local Organising Committee, 2017.

Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage served as Personal Assistant to Prof Sam Oyovbaire and because of his commitment and dedication to the affairs of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the former national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Iyorchia Ayu appointed him as Personal Assistant and Atiku Abubakar the Presidential candidate of PDP appointed him as SA during the 2023 general elections.

Because of his passion for youth participation in politics and decision making Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage summon like minds and formed Bomadi Mandate Group (AKA Third Force) mobilize with his resources which produces the PDP Bomadi Local Government Secretary and Councilor.

Again because of his passion for good governance Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage again mobilize like minds across the Ijaws in Delta, Bayelsa, Edo, Ondo and Rivers State to formed Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG) to support the candidature of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as  governor of Delta State.

As the National Coordinator of Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG) Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage mobilize the people with his resources for Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori during the governorship primaries and the general elections.

During the governorship primaries. I remember a meeting where he told members we should endorse Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as our governorship candidate some members reject it because of political interest and storm out of the meeting including leaving the Whatsapp group chat, but he stood on his ground, either Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as our governorship candidate no one else…

The Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG) unanimously agreed to support and endorse Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as their governorship candidate.

During the governorship primaries, the National Coordinator of Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG) and the PDP Chairmaship candidate of Bomadi Local Government in the forthcoming local government Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage life was threatened several times to abandoned and stop his support to Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori governorship ambition.

His family went into hiding he was attacked several times and escaped 3 (three) assassination attempts.

Despite the odds and obstacles Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage stood and committed to the project of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori governorship ambition.

During the governorship election, “The National Coordinator of Ijaw Mandate Group (IMG) Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andage mobilize members to deliver His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) as the Executive Governor of Delta State.
