Council Polls: Burutu LGA Youth Stakeholders Advocates Popular Chairmanship Candidate To Gov Sheriff Oborevwori For The Sake Of 2027 Elections

The Burutu LGA Youth Stakeholders make a passionate appeal to the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborewoire to considered the overall interest of the youths for the forthcoming Local Government election and to allow a youth friendly local government Chairman to build a stronger grassroots support base towards 2027 general elections.

“It is a fact that, youths are the driving force of every elections and play a significant role in political participation in all ranges of politics down to the smallest component of the unit levels. In the past 2023 general elections, Burutu Local Government result was a narrow escape base on the fact that, we have a youth friendly Local Government Chairman that is able to carried the youths along and defeated All Progressive Congress (APC) with a small margin.

“The Governor should give consideration for the interest of the youths to make recommendation to select a youth friendly candidate to emerge and deliver the party in 2027 general elections and also address the age long poor infrastructural development deficiency in the Eleven (11) wards in Burutu LGA. If wrong candidate eventually emerges at the selection process then we should know that, Burutu will loose 2027 elections to an opposition party and that will destroy the party and even our two House of Assembly seats will be affected in the hands of opposition party According to Comrade Franklin D Magada, former Senior Special Assistant on Environmental Protection Agency and Coordinator of Burutu LGA Youth Stakeholders.

Gone are the days, that youths will be passive in the selection process of our LGA Chairman, this time we’ll be deeply involved and active in the selection process. Especially, as a party that wants to win all our elective positions in Burutu LGA in the forthcoming 2027 general elections, we must go for the best championship aspirant to deliver the dividend of democracy to our people.
