Chief Ovoke Oshasha Led Other APC Ughelli North Ward 3/7 Leaders To Receive All PDP Members In The Ward Into APC Fold
…Says Their Is Nothing Like Old And New APC Member, We Only Have Formidable APC Family In Ughelli North Ward 3/7
The unity meeting, which took place at the Eruemukohwarien Town Hall, was well attended by both PDP decampees and APC leaders of Ughelli North Ward 3/7 In Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
While receiving those who newly decamped into the APC from PDP, Olorogun Ovoke Oshasha expressed gratitude to God Almighty for such a great event and stated that, this is the best thing that has ever happened in the history of the ward.
He recount his experience looking back to 2017 when he began the journey of APC Ward 3/7 leadership and entering the 2019 election as opposition with very few members.
According to him, “Before going to the 2023 election, he (Hon. Chief Ovoke Oshasha), as the leader of the party in the ward, received Hon. Abel Oshevire and Chief Florence Akpoyibo into the APC fold. He is now witnessing a mass defection from the entire PDP, is a thing of joy and call for celebration, he said.
He expressed joy, noting that with this new development, the teething issues experienced in the 2019 and 2023 elections will not recur in 2027.
By the special grace of God, “Am very confident that in 2027, APC Ughelli North Ward 3/7 will secure 99.9% of the votes for PBAT, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other candidates from the party.
Chief Ovoke emphatically noted that after this unity/integration meeting, the terms “old” and “new” APC membership should cease, as we now have one formidable APC in Ughelli North Ward 3/7.
