Niger Delta Progressive Women Worldwide condemn the malicious and heartless attacks on Mrs Eyisan Oritsemyinwa, the Executive Vice President, Upstream of NNPCL.
Briefing newsmen after their meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, “The National Coordinator of Niger Delta Progressive Women Worldwide, Comrade Miebi Andakuro said, “We condemn in strong term the malicious attack on Mrs Eyisan Oritsemyinwa by faceless group and enemies of progress, noting that, her promotion is due to her dedication, professionalism and commitment. We the Niger Delta are proud of her achievements over the years. She is a symbol of hope.
According to the National Coordinator, “The baseless attack and attempted disenfranchisement to undermine the Niger Delta Region will be rejected with huge consequence.
Mrs Eyisan Oritsemyinwa promotion follow due process and merit-based decision in the oil producing sector of the Nigerian economy.
According to the vabrant woman leader, Mrs Eyisan Oritsemyinwa is a symbol of hope, we the women from the Niger Delta Region are so proud of her and any attempt to tarnish her well-earnd reputation and disenfranchisement will be nakedly rejected with huge Consequences, stressing that, the malicious attack is coming from the Anti-Niger Delta elements and enemies of progress in the country.
Comrade Miebi Andakuro warn that, such reckless actions are not only harmful but could also destabilize the existing peace and unity in our dear region and Nigeria as a whole.
She said some few elements are being used by external forces to malign discord to discredit a woman of exceptional integrity, professionalism and accomplishments.
We are calling on our dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, relevant authorities and well-meaning Niger Deltans to disregard the baseless and malicious attacks aimed at disenfranchising Mrs Eyisan Oritsemyinwa well-deserved promotion, contribution which give her rightful recognition.
