…Our National Leader Was A Fearless Advocate For Resource Control
The Asaba Ijaw Youths Council, has mourn the passing of Ijaw and Niger Delta fearless national leader, Chief (Dr) Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, noting that, he was an advocate for the minority voice for justice and equity, especially resource control for our common good and for the betterment of the Niger Delta region.
In a statement made available to journalists in Asaba, Delta State by the President of Asaba Ijaw Youths Council, Comrade Kelly Gilor, “The Ijaw Nation and Niger Delta has lost an Iroko, the voice to the voiceless that champion resource control for our common good and for the betterment of Niger Delta region.
Pa Clark dedicated his life in active activism championing justice, equity and resource control for the minority tribes in Nigeria. We will miss his activism for defending and advocating for the rights of the minority tribes to get what rightfully belong to them in our dear county.
Our father, Pa Clark was a fearless and courageous elder statesman that does not mix his words when talking about the plights of the people (minorities) that produces the economy (wealth) of the country and the rights of the people. He was known for his immense compassion for the rights and development of the Niger Delta region.
The Asaba Ijaw Youths Council commiserate with the immediate family, Ijaw Nation and Niger Delta over the death of our beloved father and national leader.
